June 29, 2008The poor guy has been down with a slight fever from the damage to his ass.
Grumpy to no end and a quickly waning appetite meant that Synn and I had to sponge the little man down with some cool, room temperature water. That, and some Paracetamol washed down with milk and his temperature was back to normal.
Yes, I know, we’d been told to use lukewarm water, but it wasn’t bringing the temperature down fast enough.
Unfortunately, his appetite has been minimal at best since Friday. He’s only been doing half his usual amount each feed, and sleeping for most of the time. Synn and I are keeping our fingers crossed that he’ll be right as a cookie soon enough.
Poor little man…:(
